Plain English. What FlexPractice is, how it works, and what we expect from everyone.

What FlexPractice is

FlexPractice is a platform that connects independent wellness practitioners with clients looking for their services. We list practitioners, facilitate booking requests, and help clients discover practitioners they might not have found otherwise.

We are not a healthcare provider. We don't employ the practitioners on our platform. We don't supervise, direct, or take responsibility for the clinical decisions made during sessions. The practitioner-client relationship is entirely between you and the practitioner.

For clients

Booking requests are not confirmed appointments. Submitting a booking request means you've expressed interest in a session. The appointment is confirmed only when the practitioner responds and confirms it — you'll receive a text when that happens.

Intro sessions are for first-time clients only. One intro session per person per practitioner. The reduced rate is an introduction — not a recurring discount. Once you become a regular client you book directly with the practitioner at their standard rate.

Payment is between you and the practitioner. FlexPractice doesn't process payments. You pay the practitioner directly at the time of your session — cash, card, or whatever method they use.

Cancellations. Each practitioner sets their own cancellation policy — it's shown on their booking page. As a general principle, please give at least 24 hours notice. Last-minute cancellations are a real cost to independent practitioners.

Medical disclaimer. The services offered through FlexPractice are wellness services, not medical treatment. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice. If you have a medical condition please consult a licensed physician.

For practitioners

You must be independently licensed. By listing on FlexPractice you confirm that you hold a current, valid license for your specialty in the state where you practice. If your license lapses or is suspended, you're responsible for notifying us immediately so your profile can be removed.

Your profile must be accurate. The credentials, experience, rates, and availability shown on your profile must reflect reality. Misleading information is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.

Intro sessions are real sessions. The reduced rate is to lower the barrier for new clients — the quality and length of the session should be identical to any other appointment. Offering a lesser service at the intro rate isn't what this is for.

You own your client relationships. FlexPractice makes the introduction. After that, the ongoing relationship is between you and your client. We don't take a cut of follow-up sessions unless you choose to continue using FlexPractice for scheduling.

Pricing during launch. FlexPractice is free for all practitioners during the launch phase. When paid tiers are introduced you'll be notified with reasonable advance notice and the option to continue or leave — no surprises.

What we're responsible for

We're responsible for maintaining the platform, vetting practitioners before they're listed, keeping your information private as described in our Privacy Policy, and being honest about what FlexPractice is and isn't.

We're not responsible for the quality of sessions, outcomes of treatment, disputes between clients and practitioners, or anything that happens during or after a session. We're the introduction — what happens after is between you and your practitioner.

SMS notifications

By providing your phone number through FlexPractice you agree to receive transactional SMS messages related to your bookings and appointments. This includes booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-up messages after your session.

Message frequency varies based on booking activity — typically 2–3 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at hello@flexpractice.co.

Removing a listing

We reserve the right to remove any practitioner from the platform at any time if we find that their listing is inaccurate, their license is invalid, or their conduct is harmful to clients. We'll always reach out directly before taking action unless the situation requires immediate removal.

Practitioners can request to be removed from the platform at any time by emailing hello@flexpractice.co. We'll remove your profile within 24 hours.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes to these terms we'll update this page and the date at the top. For practitioners, we'll notify you directly by email if changes affect how you're listed or what you're charged. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
